The Department of Energy at Politecnico di Milano launches a new first-level Specializing Master developed within the ParTTEc project and funded by the Italian Cooperation.
The Department of Energy at Politecnico di Milano has launched the call for applications for the Specializing Master in Science, Technology and Innovation for the Ecological Transition. The training programme is developed within the ParTTEc project “Territorial Partnerships for the Ecological Transition in Tunisia: Co-designing Person-Centred Processes and Practices” and funded by Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) through the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).
The initiative brings together Politecnico di Milano, the Municipality of Milan, Fondazione AVSI, Fondazione Politecnico di Milano and CITET, combining complementary academic, institutional and technical expertise to foster capacity building, knowledge exchange, innovation and scientific cooperation between Italy and Tunisia.
The Specializing Master is designed as an executive programme for young lecturers and researchers from Tunisian Universities, Research Centers, Tecnoparks and Public Institutions who wish to enhance their research and teaching skills.
A key objective of the initiative is to support the professional development of academic and research staff in Tunisian universities, contributing to the training of a new generation of qualified researchers and faculty members. In this perspective, the Specializing Master represents an important opportunity to strengthen long-term scientific and academic cooperation between Italy and Tunisia and to foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise between institutions.
The Specializing Master focuses on several strategic areas, including Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition, Sustainable and Just Energy Transition , Industry 4.0, Integrated Water Management, Agri-food Systems, and Project/Research Management and Innovative Teaching . Through an interdisciplinary approach, the programme will provide participants with the opportunity to explore technological, scientific and managerial aspects of the transition towards more sustainable and resilient development models.
The programme follows a blended format combining online learning with in-person classes in Tunis and Milan (Italy). This blended structure is intended to enable participants to pursue their academic and professional activities while taking part in the programme, while also creating opportunities for direct interaction, networking and collaboration among participants and academic experts.
